-Combat Types
Classes are: Warrior (uses str attacks) Ranger (uses agi attacks) Magic (uses int attacks)
-Stat Points
Stat Points are used to increase your stats. There are five stats which will all effect your character in some way. Each of them are good for different things and if you combine them nicely, you will find you have created the ultimate killing machine.
Attributes:
-Strength:
Adds to your max melee hit.
Adds to your base melee damage reduction from a successful block.
Adds to your base 'parry' rate.
-Endurance:
Adds to your max health.
Decreases the quality of your opponents hits.
-Intelligence:
Adds to your max mana (used for magic).
Adds to your max magic hit.
-Agility:
Adds to your base 'dodge' rate.
Adds to your base 'critical' rate.
-Willpower:
Adds to your health regain rate.
Adds to your mana regain rate.
-Game Controls
These are important if you are going to play... trust me.
Basic:
The basic controls are:
-Walking: Use the arrow keys to walk.
-Attack/Talk/Collect(resources): Ctr is used as the main action key.
-Hotbar Keys(F Keys): Use the F keys (F1, F2 etc.) by dragging a item or spell into a space at the top of your screen.
-Pick up: You can pick up items from the ground by hitting enter.
-Equipping Items: To equip items, they have to be equitable, just double click on an item that is and it will be equipped, you can also drag items onto the F action bar, for faster equipping. Once equipped, you can go into the Character screen, at the bottom you will see the items you have equipped and the free spaces you have.
-Using Food/Potions or any other item: You can use items simply by double clicking or dragging onto the F action bar.
Traveling with Boats: simply step onto the boat to be sailed away.
Targeting a player or NPC: Simply click the NPC or player and they will be targeted. You must target something to be able to cast a spell on it. Some NPCs are ones you cant kill, because they are friendly or shop keepers etc.
-Resources (Collecting)
There are many resources available, the problem is that some of them can be hard to get for yourself. Collect resources by walking up to the source of it (E.g a tree) and pressing or holding down Ctrl. Once you have collected the resource from its source, you will have to wait for it to respawn, which happens at different rates depending on what it is your collecting. You can use the things you collect for many things, read guides made by players about what they have found you can craft with different resources, or go testing yourself!
-Name Color
The color of your victims name can be extremely important to you. Before attacking them, check the color of their name and work out their behavior.
--Green:
-Friendly- You cannot attack them and they cannot attack you.
-Shopkeeper- Shopkeepers also have green names. If you talk to them (pres Ctr) they might tell you about their store.
-Quest giver- these can give you quests.
-Other players
--Red:
-Attack on sight- They will attack you as soon as they see you! Note* Some NPCs have better sight then others.
-Other players that are PKers (player killers)
--Yellow:
-Attack when attacked- They will only fight if you attack.
-Developers
--Gray:
-Guard- If you attack one, then every NPC in the area who are guards will come and attack you.
-Danger Spots (Traps)
Sometimes you will see a part of the ground that looks dangerous... but your human and therefor you know you want to stand on it! This will cause you Health to drop. How much HP you lose varies, depending on what it is your stepping on.
